With a ride that fits between your legs perfectly, it is a comfortable and enjoyable ride. It is lightweight and quite easy to carry around. The polycarbonate outer shell provides good protection for the inner components but it is susceptible to minor cosmetic damage.
This ride is pretty easy on the road but it is definitely built to tackle moderate off-road conditions as well! Mild gravel, puddles, mud and rocky grounds are fine in short bursts, but pro-longed trips on difficult terrain will eventually wreak havoc on your new ride. The Artwheen KingSong is perfect for road cruising up to 15.5 miles per hour. It can reach up to 15 miles of distance but, that of course depends on a variety of factors ( like any other electric vehicle ) Like weight of the rider, road conditions, incline and tire PSI.
This ride can carry up to 220 pounds and can handle inclines of up to 25 degrees. However, ramps and bumps can prove to be difficult once the weight it is carrying starts to exceed 200 pounds. This unit also features quick charging capabilities. You only need to wait about 80 to 90 minutes to charge it to full. What’s great about it is that it also has an overcharge protection so you won’t have the need to worry about forgetting that it was plugged in through the entire evening. But with quick charging, it is also quite quick in using up the battery.

Strengths
The KingSong boasts some of the best charging times in the market at only 80 minutes for a full charge! This means you can spend less time waiting and more time on the road. A great perk if you are always on the move. The battery can also be changed to upgrade to a more powerful boost in speed and longer distance coverage. It is a pretty cool ride if you love listening to music as the acoustics are some of the best you’ll find on an electric unicycle.
Weaknesses
While it boasts a very quick charging time of only 1.2 hours, You will notice this in the max speed and range. While it’s 15 mph max speed is fairly respectable, the 15 mile range for a fully charged battery leaves something to be desired. It’s a delicate balance between range, speed and charging time when you’re considering any battery powered transportation models. The Artwheel-14 is no exception here. Other than that, we really can’t say anything bad about the Artwheel-14.
If you are looking for something with a higher max speed & range, you may want to consider alternative models.
