Description and Review
A folding scooter that is lightweight and portable, the Glion Dolly offers an easy way to get from place to place without the hassle of trying to find a place to park your scooter. This little scooter offers a carrying bag and a retractable hand trolley, so it folds and packs to look like a rolling suitcase. This makes it easy to carry onto a train, trolley, or airplane.
Features
The Glion Dolly Folding Scooter is a stand up model that can be powered manually or using the attached electric motor. A 36 V lithium ion battery provides plenty of power for a 3 hour ride.
The 250W brush less hub motor allows the scooter to travel up to 15 mph on smooth, level surfaces. The scooter will travel up slight inclines, but level surfaces are recommended for maximum battery life and motor power.
The Glion Dolly scooter will travel about 15 miles before the battery needs to be charged. Recharging is as simple as plugging into any household outlet. It takes about 3 hours to recharge the battery.
The Glion Dolly is unique because it has 2 mini trolley wheels and a retractable trolley handle for easy transport when you are not using it. Just fold it using the one foot easy fold system, store it in it’s sturdy bag and pull up on the travel handle. It rolls along behind you just like a rolling suitcase.
Just because it is small and portable doesn’t mean the Glion Dolly is lacking on features. A handlebar mounted battery life indicator keeps you up to date on remaining power. Even if your battery goes dead, you can continue your journey by using the Glion Dolly like a traditional kick powered scooter.
Glion Dolly has constructed their Model 200 scooter with high quality aircraft grade powder coated aluminum. It has 8″ honeycomb styled never flat, airless tires developed by the military. Operation is easy by using the twist grip right hand throttle control and the left hand twist grip brake. A headlight, rear reflector, and warning bell insure rider and pedestrian safety.

Strengths
The Glion Dolly Foldable scooter is compact and portable. It is unique from others because of its mini trolley wheels and retractable handle. It folds down to 8 x 16, making it very compact. The 8″ airless tires offer a smooth ride, even over bumpy surfaces. The powder coated aluminum frame is very strong, yet lightweight.
Weaknesses
The company is new and relatively unknown, so there is no information about how well they stand behind their products. The scooter is designed only for stand up riding, so long journeys could get tiring. A removable seat post would really help the design of the Glion Dolly scooter. One major concern is the throttle and brake system. Because both operate by a twist grip technique, it could cause a problem if somebody got the two controls mixed up.

I own this scooter and it’s great. However, your information needs some correction and even contradicts itself.
First, you say that it can be powered manually. The drag from the motor on the wheels is significant enough that it isn’t very useful without the motor. It doesn’t glide freely and it’s overall far easier to just get off and walk it next to you.
You say that it has enough power for a 3 hour ride but I can’t imagine a scenario where that could be remotely true. In the specs you mention the top speed of 15mph and 15 miles per charge, which equates to 1 hour per charge. This is only slightly exaggerated vs real world use but close enough. There’s no way you could get 3 hours on a charge, not even at a lower speed. I tend to get 13-ish miles and 50-55 minutes of use per charge at full throttle, even with navigating hills.
Overall, this is a fantastic scooter but I would add the inability to swap batteries on the go to your list of cons. I’d love to be able to ride more than 30 mins without having to turn back.
